Incidence of caesarean delivery after induction of labour in nulliparous women with unfavorable bishops score at tertiary care centre

Background: Induction of labour means initiation uterine contractions before onset spontaneous to achieve vaginal delivery, because birth by caesarean delivery is more hazardous than delivery. Prostaglandins are used in management Labour and introduced as agent for induction Labour. Nulliparous women likely undergo at a higher risk after labour, compared multiparous women. Objective current study was determine the incidence nulliparous with unfavourable bishop’s score when induced dinoprostone gel.Methods: This Hospital based Prospective interventional Study conducted among 200 18-35 years age singleton pregnancy cephalic presentation 37-42 weeks unfavorable bishop (≤5) reactive fetal heart rate pattern no contraindication delivery.Results: In our participants majority were group 18-25 (86%), period gestation 40 (45.5%), most common indication postdated (46.5%). Incidence 28.5% secondary arrest 46.5%.Conclusions: The concluded that LSCS found be 28.5%. Duration dose had positive association increased LSCS.
